GUANGDONG HAIXING PLASTIC&RUBBER CO. LTD.
Your Trusted Partner for Plastic Housewares OEM/ODM
From product ideas and engineering to mass production and delivery, Haixing helps retailers and brands turn plastic products into successful products at scale.
Founded in 1989, Guangdong Haixing Plastic & Rubber Co., Ltd. has more than 35 years of experience in plastic housewares manufacturing. Today, Haixing operates large-scale manufacturing facilities with 1,000+ employees, 200 injection-molding machines and more than 12,000 plastic products, covering three major categories: Kitchen & Tabletop, Storage & Organization, and Bathroom.
Our products are supplied to customers in 160+ countries and regions, with America among our leading markets.
But our strength is not simply our size.
Our real strength is our ability to solve problems for customers.
MORE THAN A FACTORY
From an Idea to a Retail-Ready Product
A customer may come to us with a finished drawing.
Or a sample.
Or simply an idea.
Our job is to help turn that idea into a product that can actually be manufactured, meet the required quality standards, and be produced efficiently at scale.
Our 50+ R&D designers work closely with our engineering and manufacturing teams. We use mold-analysis software and our manufacturing experience to evaluate product structures, mold release, reinforcement, shrinkage and other production considerations before tooling begins.
For customers who need new-product development, our team can also start from a market direction and develop product concepts, samples, molds and packaging.
For customers who already have their own designs, we can help optimize those designs for manufacturing.
That's what OEM/ODM means to us:
Idea → Design → Engineering → Prototype → Mold → Production → Quality Control → Packaging → Delivery
R&D THAT UNDERSTANDS MANUFACTURING
A beautiful design is only the beginning.
A good plastic product must also be manufacturable.
In one project with a major Target intermediary, the customer's designers provided product drawings to Haixing. Our designers were able to review the drawings from a manufacturing perspective and provide suggestions on structure, reinforcement, mold release and other production issues.
We could then develop a 3D-printed prototype so the customer could evaluate the actual product structure before committing to tooling.
This is one of the reasons customers value working with Haixing: our designers don't only understand how to design a product—they understand how to make it.
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT WITH MINISO
Our cooperation with MINISO began in 2013 when its team visited our factory.
They were looking for two things:
Large production capacity.
Strong R&D capability.
Because MINISO serves a young customer base, products need to be refreshed quickly. Their team may give us only a product direction—for example:
“Bathroom storage.”
Our R&D team then researches market and e-commerce data, identifies product opportunities, develops a series of concepts, prepares presentations for the buyer, creates samples for selection, and continues improving the design until the product is approved for tooling.
Our cooperation can extend beyond the product itself to packaging and retail presentation.
Our designers also travel with customers to markets such as Korea and Japan to discover new product ideas and inspiration.
This is how a supplier relationship can become a product-development partnership.
ENGINEERING FOR DIFFICULT PRODUCTS
Some products look simple.
Until you try to manufacture them.
Siemens Refrigerator Storage Box
Siemens asked Haixing to develop a large, long and straight PP refrigerator storage box.
Long injection-molded products can deform because of material shrinkage. Our technical team studied the problem and developed a process for controlling the direction of shrinkage by adjusting the temperature difference between the front and back molds.
The result was a large plastic product with exceptional straightness.
According to the case, Siemens gave very positive feedback on the sample and said they had not previously seen another manufacturer produce such a large plastic product with this level of straightness.
This is what engineering capability means to us:
When a product presents a difficult technical problem, we don't simply say it is difficult. We look for a way to manufacture it.
PRECISION DOWN TO THE DETAILS
Peppa Pig IML Cookie Bucket
For a Peppa Pig cookie bucket, the customer required extremely precise alignment of the IML label.
Rather than accepting the normal industry tolerance, our technical team repeatedly tested different label sizes and mold parameters, adjusting the process step by step until the required result was achieved.
The product subsequently sold approximately 500,000–600,000 units per year for several years.
This is the kind of manufacturing discipline we believe in:
If the customer has a specific requirement, we find a way to achieve it.
Haixing has dedicated capabilities for IML, high-speed automatic injection and two-color injection molding.
QUALITY ENGINEERING, NOT JUST QUALITY INSPECTION
Costco Bucket & Backpack
Costco required the lid of a plastic bucket to be neither too tight nor too loose.
Instead of leaving the requirement to subjective judgment, Haixing worked with the customer to establish specific testing standards.
The team then tested different dimensional combinations, taking into account the fact that injection-molded plastic continues to shrink after production.
Products were allowed to stabilize before testing. The successful dimensional parameters were recorded and then incorporated into mass-production control.
The result was a clear process:
Customer requirement → measurable standard → engineering test → parameter confirmation → production control → customer inspection
That's how we approach quality.
Our company operates internal quality-testing capabilities covering areas including dimensional accuracy, product quality, color, transportation simulation and other testing requirements.
WHEN THE SPECIFICATION IS UNUSUAL, WE ENGINEER A SOLUTION
Special Hanger Project
In 2018, Haixing developed a hanger for a prison daily-necessities project with highly specific mechanical requirements.
The hanger needed to withstand normal use without being excessively brittle, while meeting a tightly defined load-bearing range.
Our technical team conducted repeated research and testing and developed a material formulation using calcium carbonate to achieve the required performance.
The lesson was simple:
Some customer requirements cannot be solved by choosing an existing product. They require engineering.
That's where our technical experience makes a difference.
BUILT FOR BIG ORDERS
Proven Capacity at Scale
Large orders require more than machines.
They require molds, people, warehouses, engineering, production planning and logistics to work together.
Haixing has approximately 300 × 40HQ container monthly capacity, two automated smart factories, three injection workshops, more than 40,000 m² of warehouse space and a network of co-processing facilities.
And we have real experience handling exceptionally large programs.
Mexico — US$3.8 Million / 4 Million Sets
In 2011, a Mexican customer needed approximately 4 million gift sets—more than 100 containers—with a delivery deadline of only four months.
Many factories were unwilling to accept the project.
Haixing accepted the challenge.
We developed approximately 400 molds across the product range and completed the order one week ahead of the required delivery date.
This is the kind of project that demonstrates what production capacity really means.
TRUST BUILT THROUGH LONG-TERM PARTNERSHIPS
Hobby Lobby
Our cooperation with Hobby Lobby began with a US$1.25 million order in 2017.
The large shipment was completed within three months and delivered on time.
In 2019, Hobby Lobby signed another contract worth approximately US$2.2 million.
Haixing immediately expanded the resources required for the project, including molds, workers and warehouse capacity. Production was again completed within three months.
The relationship has continued for many years.
For us, large orders are not just about production volume.
They are about earning the customer's confidence to place the next order.
SMART MANUFACTURING FOR CONSISTENT QUALITY
Scale only matters when it can be controlled.
Haixing has invested in automated manufacturing systems including central feeding, automatic stacking, automatic labeling, automatic carton sealing, AGVs and MES manufacturing-management systems. These systems help improve production efficiency, delivery management, quality consistency and traceability.
We also maintain certifications and quality-management systems including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, together with other customer and market-related certifications.
WHY RETAILERS CHOOSE HAIXING
